Our Interest Rates Remain LOW

With the cost-of-living increasing almost daily it is good to see that, almost alone, our loan interest rates have not increased for many years. Loans from London Capital Credit Union are generally cheaper than loans from most other providers for smaller amounts and unlike our competitors, don’t incur set-up fees, administration costs or early redemption fees. Interest is charged on the reducing balance of the loan, which is important if you want to repay your loan weekly rather than monthly, as you’ll pay less interest overall.

We offer loans, large and small, up to £25,000 above savings, starting from just 2.9%, with our typical rate being just 12.7%. When you borrow from us, you are encouraged to save, too, meaning that by the time you finish repaying your loan, your savings will have grown as well. You can apply for a loan straight away, but if you have saved a little first it greatly increases the chance of your application being approved and may offer lower interest rates.

We also offer a variety of repayment methods, including payment directly from your salary, child benefit payments, direct debit or by standing order.

We look at factors beyond your credit score in deciding whether to lend. This means that an individual with a poor credit rating who would likely have their loan application rejected by mainstream lenders will be more likely to have a loan approved by us.

June saw our largest ever volume of loans issued as members cleared credit cards to reduce monthly expenditure. Why not check out the cost of borrowing with us here. I am sure you will be surprised at how affordable our loans are.

We have a variety of tools available here to help you manage your money. If you would prefer to speak to somebody about your finances, you can speak with one of our dedicated money advisors on 020 7561 1786 (Multilingual advisors available).
